Weekly menu 30 April 06

This past week I was in Colorado for three days so I made a list but assumed it wouldn't be followed while I was out of town. When I returned, I didn't make the dinners I was planning to make, mainly because I was tired, so we ended up not eating as well as I would have liked. The lunch menu, however, really helped me with my transition back home. It was nice to follow the list instead of having to think about it. I'm posting the form I use for our week and apologize for the fuzzy logo (NOTE: This was fixed and should now be fine). I'm still trying to recover the font from my previous computer that will no longer start. Hope you have a good week...

Dinner for this week

  • Sunday - Hot dogs with quinoa and zucchini (only N and I liked the quinoa and zucchini)
  • Monday - Whole Wheat Spagetti with meatballs and peppers
  • Tuesday - Chicken chili with hominy and cilantro
  • Wednesday - Baked snapper in tomato sauce
  • Thursday - Rotelle with mushrooms and chevre
  • Friday - Pizza night, Trader Joes pizza and leftovers
  • Saturday - Enchiladas

Lunches for our almost 4 year old and almost 2 year old (a loose plan). Our 4 year old has been eating large lunches so I've been packing more for him. The 2 year old often finishes parts of his lunch when we get home as I'm trying to make dinner.

  • Monday - Hot dogs, broccoli, clementines, pumpkin cranberry bread, yogurt, and cheese
  • Tuesday - Spagetti with meatballs, cantalope, green beans, pretzels, cheese
  • Wednesday - Mini pitas with cream cheese and jam, pear, edamame, yogurt, pumpkin cranberry bread, cheese
  • Thursday - Raisin bread, grapes, peas, crackers, cheese
  • Friday - Pasta, corn, banana, yogurt, pumpkin cranberry bread, cheese
