As a relatively new home owner I've found the Home-Maintenance Organizer binder full of household information I need help remembering, such as when to change the smoke detector batteries (twice a year when we change the clocks for Daylight Saving Time). Like the Takeout Menu Organizer, it has useful folders, tabs, and a frequently called numbers area. It also has a handy Project Worksheet, including has a "started on" section at the bottom, which anyone who has done house repair themselves will find amusing. My favorite part is a home life-expectancy chart that lists the items or systems in your home, an expectancy in years, and sections for keeping track of your appliance information. Did you know that paint has a life expectancy of 5 to 10 years? I'm not sure why I thought paint lasted longer but at least I feel better about wanting to change the colors all the time.
