Summer Swimwear for Girls

Tankini, one piece or bikini? Mom's have a decision to make when their daughters are choosing girls swimsuits. Designers such as Kate Mack and Banana Cabana create cute swimwear in all three styles. Older girls often have a strong preference, while babies seem to feel most comfortable in one piece or tankinis. For beach or pool, choose this summer's girls swimwear soon while selection is best.

I like to wear tankinis now because they are easier to change out of and I do not have to worry that one of my children will open the door before I'm ready. I'm not sure what the fascination is with opening the door while I use the bathroom or change but it was a battle for a long time. I also found that keeping my kids in easy to remove clothes helped with the bathroom process. Once they wanted to sit on the potty, we stopped wearing overalls and jumpers. We also switched to long sleeve rash guard shirts and shorts instead of one piece wet suits.
