Temper, temper

My DD (darling daughter) felt the need to throw a fit in her car seat on the way home from school today. I felt my insides start to boil because my 14 month old son was asleep in the car seat next to her. Not that he would wake up....poor thing is transitioning from 2 naps to 1 and is so tired by the time I pick up DD from school at noon he sleeps the whole ride through and continues the nap in his crib. Back to my boiling insides...I hear myself saying "If you dont stop this fit I will pull this car over!". It made me laugh and I didnt say it. I turned up the music and ignored her. She finally stopped and said, "Mommy, you are not paying attention to me". Really! You dont say. She was upset because her static filled hair was stuck to her face. I told her to lick her hands and run them through her hair...good thing we did the hand sanitizer thing when we got into the car....stay tuned for more school pick up stories...
